About the artist -
Aditya Modak started learning Indian Classical Music at an early age of five years from Shri. Chandrakant
Parker. He also received training under Shri. Pradeep Dhond for four years. Presently, he is seeking
training under the able guidance of a renowned artist of Gwalior Gharana, Dr. Ram Deshpande for almost
two decades. Aditya quit his high paying job in an MNC to pursue full-time Music and has been
performing across the country and abroad. Aditya is also heavily engaged in imparting knowledge to
Music students around the Globe.
Aditya has many Awards and Scholarships viz. Dr. Vasantrao Deshpande Award, Dr. Shrirang Sangoram
The award, Yuva Sangeet Puraskar, USA and Yuva Kalakar Puraskar, Chaturanga Pratishthan. Some of the
important scholarships are National Scholarship, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Scholarship, Pt. Sawai Gandharva
Scholarship and many more.
Aditya was awarded the " Best Outgoing Student" by his College. Aditya has performed at most of the
prestigious events and Music festivals across the Globe.
Aditya has done the Lead playback in the Marathi Serial " Saare Tujhyach Sathi" and also play a Character
Role in this series. Aditya has also played the Lead Role in a Period film on the life of Pt. D.V. Paluskar.

Excellent platform for young artists. My hats off to you. Thank you for delightful music. Is there any reason why the clips are all under 15 minutes? Why not longer videos giving full scope to the artists to explore the ragas and bada khayals?

No idea about vilambit, but the drut goes like this : Balama Gayila Mora PAradeswa Jaye Baseela My beloved has gone away and is residing in foreign lands Unbin Maika Kalana Parat Hai Aur Jiya Akulaawe without them, I get restless, my heart calls for them

Vilambit means slow , Drut means fast, while Madhya means medium Bandish or composition are to be sing in these three tempos
