Loved the video. I have just returned from Meghalaya! We could only visit 7spots - wahkaba falls, arwah cave, seven sisters, khoh ramhah(conical basket rock) and zues falls, mausmai cave, nohkalikai falls. We had reached weisawdong falls but my friend was pregnant and my husband had sprained his ankle in arwah cave so we couldn't see the beautiful spot!

Nohkali kai story: Kali kai is a widow and had one daughter ...she remarried so that her daughter can have the love of a father ...on contrary ..her new husband hated the daughter as Kali kai spent most of the time with her Little one ..so her new husband kill the little girl and cook her flesh as a meal ...When Ka Likai was back from work, she was astonished not to see her daughter around but was happy that her husband had cooked a meal for her.Satisfied that her daughter would be out playing, she enjoyed the food. Later, as she picked up the betel nut basket she found her daughter’s fingers in it. Filled with remorse, sadness, and grief, she rushed to the cliff and threw herself down. And, so the fall was named after her Nohkalikai Waterfalls.
