I just wish when it came to modular type buildings they would make them singular and leave out the the mini shops. Use the space and piece count to make a larger and more detailed building. This would also help when laying out a city. No city needs 15 news stands and 25 coffee shops.

The only modification to make are extra jumper plates within the lobby to add more of a crowd

Nice MOC. I was thinking of adding a car park/taxi rank on a 16 x 32 space at the right-hand side of the station. It's a wonderful set, and I'm about halfway through building it, but I'm struggling to work out how to incorporate a bathroom and a ticket office. My original plan was to use that downstairs section of "End of Dark Ages" for the office, at the front, and the WC, at the back, but unfortunately, there's hardly any space for minifigs under the stairs, let alone an ideal space for placing a door without a tight squeeze/the minifigs knocking their heads, so, I'm wondering if, instead, I'll put the door to the bathroom where the open entrance to the terrace is, and move the black gate forward, so that the minifigs can access the bathroom via the platform. Not sure if any of that makes sense but I'm a stickler for those details (i.e. bathrooms and offices) since it maes the set feel even more authentic.

It's indeed a Wonderfull station. I am a Lucky one to to have it. It looks better as a stand alone like you did. (With expantion👍👍 ) Between other builds in my opinion. It looks a little small and would need for shure some mods. Especially in the hight.

By the way given the limits of the program you can 100% just get the elements off bricklink or near realse Pick a brick. And just use the free digital instructions to build them and the only things you'll be missing are the stickers., Which you can replace with a 2D printer and folding scotch tape back on it's self or using double sided tape or more fancy means.... Also the box but you should be able to buy that on brick link used at any time for much less then the elements needed to build the set.

Could you extend the platform of the station to go underneath the airport shuttle? Then more of the train could stop in the station?

The designer did an awesome job! Which that plain wall to me is only plain because it exists on one plain... So given what it does and how detailed it is from different colors, elements and even textures I think the designer did an outstanding job! But yeah while I would rather have a door to the then inside then nothing... I would think they could have made the wall removed via sliding from top if not the back/front... Although that's just a guess as I have no idea what constraints they had nore am this calble of builder much less designer... Being firmly stuck in the '00s with my building/assembly ability... Speaking of I really hope that in the community End of the Dark ages becomes a cafe chain as not only is it a fun idea but done really well.

Also I mean that people will make there own End of the dark ages mocs and that people will use the name atleast in their Lego cities. As we don't get a new in Lego lore store chain very often!

Love you addition to it and honestly the most unrealistic thing about the band. Is not the band playing at a cafe that is very normal these days for a rock band to show up at any small live music spot. Because Rock bands are extremely common these days at all levels of live entermment especly at the very bottom and people who fit this vinue better are getting getting pretty rare... But that's the thing the designer set looks like a major central station and the cafe very wealthy. So they easly could have enough money to pick and choose a band and a venue popular enough to have plenty of choice in who they get. But then again Rock bands are really that prevlant that they my not have choice or may need to ghave rock bands show up most the time even because the minifigs demand it. That or your city just loves Rock and all it's ascated genres that much and that is one of the most popular up and coming bands.
