Though twist may come but this serial is inspired by our bengali serial "sreemoyee". Yeah hindi remake Anupama is better but base is from that serial. And there also after getting divorced sreemoyee's collg lover Rohit Sen came back and they are happily married couple there. So here also Anuj and Anupama will be together I guess
