Those tomato stem/flower part/fruit holder-on-ers are pretty cool looking when the worms eat all the flesh away from them!! You're right, that turned out to be a pretty good sized feeding...with one part slow & one part fast food I might add!! I agree, red wigglers are the gold standard!!🪱🪱🪱

Perhaps an expression I could have used that is even better than _'gold standard"_ is..... (can you guess what I'm going to say?)........ Yup, you guessed it - - red wigglers, the *Cadillac of worms* :) Hahaha! (not sure if you're familiar with the reference - it's from the old WKRP in Cincinnati television series)

Depending on temp in your cellar I wouldn't be surprised to see some pumpkin shell. Your worm bed is looking good...happy worming!

Luckily it has been a fairly mild winter so far.. so the basement has been a bit warmer than it usually would be in mid January :)

✔️➕ Cabbage is right, you remembered, good memory. Cabbage was the other food. You basically said you thought the cabbage would go quick but the stringy fiberous parts of asparagus might still be left over. I still haven't fed mine the cabbage that I mentioned but that's next up on the menu for my bins soon. You also said you hoped you weren't going to put your foot in your mouth with your prediction.... You can rest easy tonight knowing the tasting of feet has been averted. Well done 💯

It's a snake game system, imagine it's 9 dots. A continuous flow in separate bins and gives time in middle for each one.
