@@morbid747 my personal experience when he was finance minister, in a budget presentation anwar raised the road tax from rm20 to rm50 much to the consternation of the poor but a few days later in a press conference he proudly boasted he was able to lower the tax to rm30 after he "personally" intervened with the ministry of transport on behalf of the people. what's wrong with just raising the road tax by rm10 rather than turn it into a drama on the pretext that he was championing the poor through deception?
