ohh...i hate winter....being a Malaysian who'd been to Moscow for 6 years, the only drawback is the winter...it could last 4-6 months till the snow dried up...the temperature could reach -3 degrees where u couldnt be outside too long, bcause it is freezingly super cold...even when autumn or spring arrive,u still could feel the cold air which i simply could not tolerate for long...Hence why,im grateful to be Malaysian...Living in Malaysia is the best place anyone could experience ..i could also migrate for better wages, but i just simply love being in Malaysia for the reasons this video had mentioned above...

@@KSquaredVlogsYeah, it's the high humidity that's killing us here lol It's just the same day or night, unlike those desert countries where they at least have cooler nights and dry weather instead of humid weather. So all my dreams was to try winter season at least once but I deeply regretted it 😂😂 apparently I pick a wrong country to try the winter season, it was Nepal. Even with bright sun and no snow the cold weather was brutal at just 5°C because the whole country is so high 2000m above sea level. I even got altitude sickness lol

I'm Malaysian, and I can't stand the heat either. I believe most Malaysians are like me. We have been used to being in air-conditioned spaces since time immemorial, and it's almost inconceivable for us to be without them; Eat, Work, Play, Travel, Sleep in A/C. (That is also the reason I don't go to Europe from June to September: the hotels there do not have A/Cs, and the ones that do, set the temperature at 24°C.) In Malaysia, walking outside is only bearable before 10.00AM or after 6.30PM. I hope you had a pleasant stay, and good luck with your travels.

I just returned from two beautiful neighbouring country and their hot weather is so much hot if not worst than in Kuala Lumpur its such a relief to be back, shaded trees are every where in KL in comparison to another city. Just walk into any air condition walkway, shops, shopping centres, offices, blocks restaurants, apartments, buildings, are everywhere. We in KL say we just cannot like the sun, sunshine and expect everything nice, cooling and warm...its not but the sun is hot. Many westerner wear the wrong cloths or garment materials in KL. Suits and thick T shirts wont work in sunny KL..

This is definitely a fair observation. I'm Malaysian, spent half my life in Sarawak and half in KL. Yes the people you spoke to are correct, it was a lot cooler when we were kids in the 80s & 90s. Also KL had a lot more trees. Many of the parks have either been reduced or removed completely, replaced by buildings. How we locals survive - in the city, we walk either in the mornings or evenings only, avoiding midday strolls. We do generally live with primarily live with the windows open and fans on. And lastly a lot of us who can't stand the heat, we will head to the islands, beaches, hills or mountains for cooler weather. Remember that KL is also in the Klang Valley, meaning it's not just about the evergrowing concrete jungle, the heat is trapped in the valley surrounded by the hills. 2 months is a little too short a time to have a comprehensive look at any country, there are so many states, cultures as ways of living that keep us all here. 70% of the time, the temperature ain't bad at all. But like how winter countries can have harsh cold climate months, we have equally hot melting months too. Anyways, hope the next time you drop by, stay a little longer. Come visit us Borneo side ❤

Agree about not being able to hang out outside comfortably. The humidity is the thing. It was much more drier and cooler when I was a kid in the early 70s in a town that is now a city with 1/2 mil people . The morning air was really cold and there was dew on the grass. Back then we had only 10 mil people now we have 33 mil. Put it down to population and industrialization. One has to be a real authentic enthusiast of trees, herbs, fruits etc that make our food and medicine to really love it here. Like I cant live well without the tropical fruits like pineapple, mangoes, the very many varieties of bananas and plantains, rambutans, mangosteens etc, etc. Goodluck and best wishes. If you're still here please stay away from large trees during or after thunderstorms, so many fallen trees from the turbulent urban winds it's unprecedented. The weather has been extreme of late; it's either blistering hot or total deluge. I was pretty much a city girl 30 years ago and would roam all over KL on foot. Knew all the shortcuts and best hangouts. Back then it was still pleasant walking around even during the warmer spells. I couldn't do that now it's just too hot. So happy you've had some good time in my country. Do come back for visits if you feel you need to break away from the Canadian long winters 😊

Not as hot as other countries, this year the weather has changed And this year is very hot, but no matter how hot it is, it still rains because the Malaysian weather ministry does cloud seeding Cloud seeding can be done if there are thick clouds in hot places only,We are thankful that our country is hot, compared to a cold country, we can't live to plant anything, it's hard to go out, it's hard to wear thick clothes, But the heat in Malaysia is short-lived, not throughout the summer,

If you love walking, you will not be happy in Malaysia. Besides famous cities like Mont Kiara, most places here are straight up dangerous to walk, u will actually walk on the road with cars, and in here it's not pedestrian-first it's car-first, so pedestrians have to let cars pass first before they can cross. A lot of drivers would speed up if they see someone crossing the road, so be careful.

You are right. Even the past few days, Malaysians are complaining it is too hot! Everywhere! Probably partly is because not enough trees, but there's been a lot of solar flares (if the rumours are right) that is causing a lot of heat waves all over and probably, the Equator where South East Asia is, gets hit first. Glad you like the environment (-) the weather. Hope you will come again during the monsoon seasons where it is cooler, but very wet (with flash floods 😅) Nevertheless, glad you enjoyed here. @@KSquaredVlogs yes the weather in Australia is really wonderful, the housing situation however is similar to Canada, over here shoe box (or dog box) will cost you $1 million+ far from the city with not much services, even that that’s considered good price. A good area with good services will cost $2 - $3 million which is insane. And even rents have doubled and tripled, if you’re lucky to find a rental. This is why many are leaving Australia because entire generations are being priced out of housing entirely

Heat index is like 42 + degrees C (108 + degrees F) quite a few months of the year. We dream of cool weather like 33 degrees C here from May to October. But point taken.
