All I will say Karina is DO NOT get a copper IUD. I tried it because I hated the Hormones associated with the Pill but I started getting liver problems because my body was sensitive to the copper.

@@mona8321 So Insertion wasn’t too bad, just mild cramp that lasted for a minute. Removal wasn’t bad at all. I had to get it taken out after 2 months. I had severe Cramps/ Period Cramps, but that’s to be expected because Copper has some way of making your periods worse. Libido was great, just cramps were bad. I had to take Midol the entire week, plus my period went from 7 days Normally before it, to 9 days when I got the IUD. Then I started to get cramps after my period, just for a few days then it extended to a week and I figured it was just my body adjusting to the metal. Then it just got unbearable because I can deal with cramps a week out of the month but not the WHOLE month. Also I had my blood checked before the IUD and my liver enzymes were normal. After the insertion, I had my blood checked again (Due to other medicinal reasons) and my liver enzymes (AST and ALT) were slightly heightened. The normal range is between 6-29, and mine were at 59. So I talked to my doctor who put the IUD in about my problems and she told me it had NOTHING to do with it… even though I had evidence/ blood results and nothing had changed in my life/ routine. Which I found odd but I think it’s a liability thing, she can’t admit it causes damage to the liver but idk. (Only thing she stated is that it might be Wilson’s Disease, where some people can store copper and not get rid of it. Though I consulted with my main doctor and he did not want to test me for that yet, seeing as he only tests if liver enzymes are double the amount they should be) Also I got tested for Hep B and C (infection of liver) and they were both negative as well. So I decided because of the continuous cramps throughout the entire month and the changes in liver enzymes I would take it out, because I don’t want to permanently cause any damage. Then my doctor tried to somewhat talk me out of it, saying my insurance wouldn’t likely cover another insertion and I told her that was fine. Then right after that, she told me she wouldn’t be able to prescribe me birth control pills seeing as my liver enzymes were too high. 🤦🏻‍♀️ So I was slightly frustrated but my spouse is looking into getting a Vasectomy so all is well! It’s great for some people, just not for me. If you have any more questions I can answer them.

I’ve learned after the kids can talk don’t have sex in the same room. Don’t always trust they are sleeping. One time me and my husband thought our son was sleeping and we started to get it on and my son looks up and says while you guys are jumping can I watch 5 min on the tv 🤦‍♀️

Now that you have done the surgery, be careful getting pregnant you are more fertile. I got pregnant without trying 4 month PO and It was 50/50 chance miscarriage so I ended up getting an abortion bcuz the pregnancy wasn’t healthy and I wasn’t ready to get pregnant yet bcuz I’m not suppose to get pregnant till 12-18 months.

Answering that last question, I honestly do not lol. Our daughter has her toddler bed in our room but she'd coslept with us since she was about 4mo. Hehe she'll sleep in her bed sometimes and those sometimes we uhh you know 😅😅.. i honestly do still feel kinda awkward bc she's STILL IN THE ROOM so sometimes I tell hubby that we should go to the guest br so that we don't wake her (i know that I'm really telling him that bc I'm feeling awkward though lol). I had gastric bypass 11 years ago and I eat almost anything and everything. I just have to watch how much I eat. I am however lactose intolerant after having the surgery, which I wasn't before. I was 265 at my highest and now 11 years later and two kids later I'm down to 155

I had same issues of infertility and two months after my sleeve I got pregnant. Nothing wrong with getting pregnant before just that doctors tell you that cause of the nutrition aspect of it. The baby will receive all the nutrients & mom will most likely get depleted so that’s why you end up taking more pills.
