Hello Shaan, I can’t thank you enough for the Facebook group and all these YT videos. It can be a lifesaver. I’d like to ask if the large representation of men in the videos is a conscious effort at bringing desperately needed attention to men’s mental health, something that is regarded by many as something of an epidemic and something many feel unable to discuss or admit. So much deserved attention given to women and panic/anxiety issues, but society has been a catastrophic failure at addressing men and anxiety attacks and other emotional maladies. Regardless, as a man who has been bedeviled by this, it’s a godsend to see and hear so many other males on your platforms talk about this like this! I feel ashamed to have to say that for many years I actually believed only women could suffer from panic and DP/DR. This is a gift to our society and the millions of men who have suffered in silence. Thank you.

I have it too! After instarted getting anxiety. Does it go away do you have any experience ?
@FreshAgenda2 жыл бұрын
@@juliaz6839 I'm still working on it, but it seems to get better for most people once they are able to calm their nervous system for a sustained period of time. I know that's hard to do when you are flipping out about symptoms, that's why it's a loop. One creates the other. But I believe once the nervous system regulates, then the symptoms will fade in time.

So Recovery is all about accepting anxiety and figuring out the root cause of it And just living life how u did when u didn’t have these symptoms just let them be there without u question them just enjoying your life how u did in the past???
@shorfan3 жыл бұрын
Yup. But also you don’t have to pretend that the symptoms aren’t there as you live your life, but acknowledge them, let them do their thing and keep living your life.

@shaan so should I treat weed like you guys were talking about alcohol. I think it’s healthier than the booze and I’ve always really enjoyed it but I’m scared to smoke now but should I smoke anyway because I want to. Or should I avoid it. I feel so bad but I don’t wanna quit smoking as I’ve always enjoyed it. I can never get a straight answer it’s always people that are super scared of weed that will tell you don’t do it or avoid it. Like dude was saying at the round table convo which is great by the way!Thanks in advance I hope we all heal 100% be day. This is no way to live.

Something I wonder about Shaan: If my anxiety started with Weed and now I am afraid of smoking because I know I will get anxious... should I completely stay away from weed because it is a trigger, or should I actually slowly start smoking a little to face the anxiety it gives me?
