Anxiety is uncontrollable and excessive apprehension, a kind of unpleasant (dysphoric), mild fear, with no apparent external reason. Anxiety is dread in anticipation of a future menace or an imminent but diffuse and unspecified danger, usually imagined or exaggerated. The mental state of anxiety (and the concomitant hypervigilance) has physiological complements. It is accompanied by short-term dysphoria and physical symptoms of stress and tension, such as sweating, palpitations, tachycardia, hyperventilation, angina, tensed muscle tone, and elevated blood pressure (arousal). It is common for anxiety disorders to include obsessive thoughts, compulsive and ritualistic acts, restlessness, fatigue, irritability, and difficulty concentrating.
Patients with personality disorders are often anxious. Narcissists, for instance, are preoccupied with the need to secure social approval or attention (Narcissistic Supply). The narcissist cannot control this need and the attendant anxiety because he requires external feedback to regulate his labile sense of self-worth. This dependence makes most narcissists irritable. They fly into rages and have a very low threshold of frustration.

Fasting has helped me resolve emotional issues through de-toxing and healing of the endocrine system (hormones), and clearing of the digestive tract. There is definitely a spirit/mind/brain/body/parasite looping connection.

I am most grateful for your work, Sam. Does this now mean there is a differential diagnosis between NPD, High Functioning Autism and Anxiety Disorders? Also from 6:54 the sound drops in tone. תודה רבה לך

Question Sam, -Is the layperson with minimal mental health awareness training able to help people who are suffering in this regard? There is a class offered in my area, entitled Youth Mental Health First Aid, and geared toward adults helping young people. A follow up course is also offered entitled Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training. Having taken both, although they bring awareness of the issue to the forefront, the content seems but a mere band-aid to this growing mental health issue of anxiety and depression. Any thoughts on this?

Dear Sam, Maybe I havent listened to enough of your videos but if I hear you right there are many many narcissists nowadays, a little research on google shows this is definitely the case, it seems to be a socially popular "truth" topic. My question is, if you only treat the "reaction" part of the Hegelian dialectic, or only the "conquer" part and do not address the "divide", do you not think you will create an even bigger divide? The way you speak of narcissism it seems as if its rampant, which leads me to believe it is an indoctrinated value. I actually dont believe this, I know this. Many of our children are also becoming narcissists by way of social media and the cult of personality, identity politics and the me me me times we are living in are all proofs this is part of a social engineering program. My question is, are you only going to talk about the problem and certain solutions, or will you, or have you already held certain talks pertaining to the cause of narcissism and the use of it as a weapon in social engineering?

Pathological narcissism is a reaction to prolonged abuse and trauma in early childhood or early adolescence. The source of the abuse or trauma is immaterial - the perpetrators could be parents, teachers, other adults, or peers. Pampering, smothering, spoiling, and "engulfing" the child are also forms of abuse - see these: vaksam.tripod.com/narcissismglance.html vaksam.tripod.com/npdglance.html vaksam.tripod.com/journal42.html metapsychology.mentalhelp.net/poc/view_doc.php?type=de&id=419 Narcissistic and psychopathic parents and their children - click on the links: groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/narcissisticabuse/conversations/messages/4727 The Genetic Underpinnings of Narcissism vaksam.tripod.com/journal43.html
