Eh we have more returning talent at skill positions than we did last year. Sark’s first real class has made it to its junior year. There weren’t any 5 star rated players in the winter portal.

We need a bit of help at receiver and experienced O line. Even with that, I think we’ll take a slight step back next year. I do firmly believe Arch will be an upgrade. But without a strong O line / running game, he’ll need to carry too much of the load. Also, we have to expect that Oklahoma and Florida will be better in 2025. We’re also going to need to travel to Columbus, Athens, and Gainesville. Even an excellent Longhorn team could drop a few of those games. Either way, it’ll be exciting, and I can’t wait!

I'll take 1 more wideout, 1 more corner, and 2 more d linemen.

Both ohio state and michigan showed that highest ROI on NIL money is keeping your talented upperclassmen out of the NFL. Very disappointed with how texas failed to keep guys. I dont know if we should blame sark or not but someone needs to make sure that we don't have an exodus of juniors again. Its the most important factor to winning natties.

Doesn't matter. Quarterback play is going to be elite instead of barley average. Elite Quarterback play makes a world of difference.

If you look at all the Final 4 teams on this year’s CFP, they all have low portal rankings. Why? They recruited well and don’t need to remake their roster through the portal because they have plenty of talent. Texas can be selective and only add portal pieces that move the needle. So far there haven’t been many move the needle guys in the transfer portal.
