2:42 no CJ we feel good bc we see how Kenny Baker is developing players. Broughton used to get pushed around the last two years. Now he’s a pro prospect and was wrecking some SEC defenses

I bring up Broughton a lot too he was definitely getting pushed around last year so I didn't have the highest hopes but Kenny Baker showed he brings a lot to the table with gis NFL development

This is big news. Texas will be elite on the outside with Simmons, Moore, and Vasek. I want to see Burke put on a little more muscle and play a little more inside on pass downs.

Sooner or later we have to play the young bucks. Texas cant keep depending on portal guys to come in and save us. We have young DBs and WRs. Play em. Period.

16:48 see Howe, I’m so glad you’re here btw, but Gerry is preaching Brad Spence. Overall Gerry talks about this stuff enough without bringing in emotions to this. I think they knew they were losing Nihblak and we’re okay with what they had compared to him. If players are the same you go with the younger players. They weren’t gonna pay for Nihblak who hardly played. This will also bring in the 6 Oline package more we saw in ‘23 if the young guys don’t block as well. Trust the coaches bc the TEs are gonna surprise everyone. Even Gerry on this although I think he’s not as worried but preaches experience. Either way it’s not like Gerry is even 100%

I’m curious to know, if players get invited to the senior bowl/shrine bowl, why do they accept the invitation but not participate?

Its injuries a lot of times. If you’re not healthy, it might be smarter to get close to 100% prior to the combine.

@@bravestexasfan123he got switched to RB, hopefully Sark uses him like Blue in the passing game
@Bones12x219 сағат бұрын
@ImMe20127 yep, they will really miss that RB presence that is more of a WR in the backfield. We don't know what Baxter is gonna be like when he plays again and Wisner and Gibson are not speed guys. So Niblett may have a big upgrade in his role.
@geocaching6922 сағат бұрын
I cant believe they didnt get dakorien that would have been the speed guy. Texas does not behave like a program who actually has a lot of NIL money. Oregon also got both the guys from USC in the portal that I thought could have helped texas. They are clearly out spending us and I hope sark takes leadership on fundraising because nobody should ever have more money than Texas.

They gotta want to be at Texas first and foremost. Like Sark says, if it’s about money first the kids should look elsewhere
