Man,these guys are so awesome ! I just turned 42 & grew up to the metal in the 80's,Megadeth was my favorite. Then when 90 came around... There was a new metal band ... THAT OWNED THE 90'S !? NO ONE,I MEAN NO ONE WAS ABOVE........PANTERA ! That's movement was huge man & the shows no one put on better... BELIEVE ME SEEN PLENTY ! 😎 The most pits were out of this world... The whole crowd would move if you were ALL on the floor & I'm not joking ! But now I've been jamming out to these guys because I like the Christ like lyrics,something different than Satanic shit ! 😄 These guys,Parkway Drive, Demon Hunter,Bad Wolves is alright,5 Finger Death Punch but I still like & listen to 70's & 80's rock,90's Alternative,even Country Rock & the old metal bands I grew up to.

I half agree with you. Reminds me of 5FDP, and yeah, it's kinda generic sound. But I still like it as it has that nice, simple, straightforward and energetic sound. In my ear, most of the songs on the album doesn't sound so catchy unfortunately and I find their previous album "Everlasting" better, overall, than this new one. But no way their genre is gone on this album. It's still there, very strongly.
