Just bought it for ps4 .It's very hard at first and have to say I could understand some people giving up for a more arcade style game .After a few good sessions though it starts to come together and becomes really satisfying and a lot of fun , Bought it on the strengh of this rewiew ,so thanks ,I'm hooked

So this is £13 for Xbox vs over £40 for the updated version 2. Is it worth the difference? Yours seem to be one of the only positive review for this game. Appreciate the effort though, even though I’m a few years late to the party. 😅

Well it's kind of a double edged sword. The issues I mentioned in AO2 still remain & that is frustrating. Both are good games, & I do prefer AO2 over AO....just wouldn't say twice as much. End of the day it is your choice, I have loads of AO2 and some AO tennis on this channel and over on Sim UK Ultimate Realism (might even be some on Sim UK Sports) so best advice I can offer is watch some gameplay & see which looks best (and which one I moan about less LMAO!)

@@SimUKReviews Thanks for the reply. Ao2 certainly looks better but I went with the first. Didn’t realise Nadal was so slow. Sure the devs could fix that if they had wanted to. It’s pretty good so far though and I’m happy with the purchase as a Rafa fan. Vamos!

Completely agree with you about the training feature. Having a training level different than the on court level is like practicing bad habits.

Sim UK It’s quite fun but has a lot of flaws. Like some player movements are off, controlling the ball is not always accurate or as expected, and the sound when you hit the ball is not great. It’s been improving a lot lately but it has a long road!

Does anyone know how to increase your "form" in career mode??? My form has a double-red down arrows symbol and it's killing my attribute ratings. Please help, thank you anyone!! Great review btw! Just bought the game a few days ago, based mostly off this review 👍
