This is very inspirational. I am 36 and have been single for a long time. It is very cool to be single and in love with yourself. It is positive to know more women are single and learning about themselves.

I am 38, I met my husband 20 years ago when he was with his ex-wife, we really reconnected 4 years ago and here I am now 38, we've been married for 3 years next week, and he is totally my person. I dated and had children, but through that I learned so much about myself, what I'd settle for, what I won't tolerate and what I want for my children. I am all about waiting it out and finding your person when the time is right. I was told after bad relationships that I was bubbly, happy and just myself, the person everyone loved so much in me.

I think that most people don’t want to be alone is so correct. Notice when you park your car there will be cars parked around you even if you park farther away. Also, everyone needs to sit next to others. Too many people don’t know themselves and so they have to be in a group.

YASSSS, let's normalize being alone and that being okay! I'm alone for the first time in my life after a lonnnnnng relationship. And I am learning so much about myself and I never thought I could be alone, but I am doing great! I think this is something that needs to be talked about more!

I find it interesting that single people who have recognized or adapted to being single have convinced themselves they are just fine being single, but it’s ironic it’s all they think and ttalk about; is getting hooked up. Why can’t we just live our single life’s and be content? I think it’s because we are meant to be a pair. Additionally, self awareness is a jokester that tries to convince us it’s our choice to be single. I think we are single because we choose to be for selfish reasons. Self awareness is selfishness in a sense, because if we are so self aware, we don’t have room for anyone else, for who can feel those shoes of yours, since you have your feet in them? Self awareness appears to be egotistical, and full of pride. Stop being self aware, and doors will be opened. It’s like planning stuff, and it is never how we planned it; our expectations are always grander. When we are open ( intimate) it’s lovely and uncontrived, it’s non judgmental, it shares without fearful of being found out, it lays it out on the table to be scrutinized. That’s confidence, and that is openness. If while being intimate with another and they run then you saved years. Self awareness is not the same as confidence, confidence doesn’t require approval, self awareness seeks yourself.

Kristen did you settle with Jay? You keep saying you don't want to settle. I understand not good to settle. I got married at 38 years old. I find younger women usually settle and then second time around, they say they don't want to settle

I feel like I want to hear the good stuff about your marriage. I know the bad stuff that you've mentioned. It would be interesting to hear how you wrestled with the good stuff. Nobody talks about that. Obviously, the kids, but the other things that made you stay and the dynamic of it. Uncharted territory. 110% Uncommon V (non-toxic of course) 😜

Why do these young people feel the need to used the F balm all the time it’s not good
@emilyrohrs95515 ай бұрын
Off the podcast subject. But, I think it’s funny that she has a jewelry line, yet promotes other jewelry lines on her podcast. To ME that’s selling out. The girl also flip flops with her views. One minute she’s saying, go ahead and sleep with him on the first date, if not serious about him, next minute she’s saying, it doesn’t matter when you sleep with him, if he’s the one he’s the one. 🤔 so, which one is it? Or is it because you want to be the “cool” older gf now. 🤠 “tik-tok” the clock is ticking.
