The much loved and admired Moto Guzzi V7Sport was still one of the fastest and most desirable 'superbikes' during the early part of the 1970's, but Guzzi's new owner, Alejandro De Tomaso wanted their top-of-the-line factory cafe-racer to be more stylish. The 750s was introduced as a transitional model between the V7Sport and the stylistically similar, but less 'hot' S3. Only 948 750s's were ever made, which is too bad because they are drop-dead gorgeous and go like a good Guzzi should. I've had this 750s for a few years now. The riding position isn't too kind to my large frame, but every time I ride it, I'm prepared to put up with a little discomfort. It's such an enjoyable, capable, involving and aesthetically pleasing motorcycle. Come with me for a few minutes down one of my favorite roads and explore it with me.
