Why is he so utterly convinced that red houses means Norway? Is it just because he doesn't get seriously burnt when it's usually in Sweden?
@callumross62902 жыл бұрын
norway probably has the highest proportion of red houses from my experience, even over sweden and finland. its something to do with red paint being the cheapest due to an excess of iron biproducts. he likes to play the odds game and it usually pays off. there are better indicators for nordic countries tho, like norwegian dashed road lines are longer, norway is most mountainous and has better camera quality and has some green plates. sweden has a distinct font on road signs and finnish streets usually end with “-tie” or contain “ää”
@Busketroll2 жыл бұрын
@@callumross6290 Another big one is that Sweden has yellow road signs for speed limits, Norway has white.
@shanadir2 жыл бұрын
@@callumross6290 Sweden also has/had a huge iron mine, to the point that most swedes can easily identify that shade of red as "Falu rödfärg". Though I guess people remember the guesses in their home country better, so that could be why I think he usually gets it wrong. And someone from Norway told him something like "red houses equals Norway 90% of the time" or something. The amount of nonsense that chat has confidently taught him only happens in one specific country is pretty amazing...
