It has been said by Kapil Sibbal that more than 6 lakhs have been denied treatment, cardiology treatments for 1500 patients have been withheld, 6500 major surgeries have been suspended, 53 people diagnosed with cancer are not receiving the adequate care by the doctors, and 20 cases of death due to the denial of treatment have been recorded. So the CJI of india, for the sake of public interest and health asked the doctors to return to work after the state has ensured various security measures for them like cctv cameras, separate washrooms, in order to ensure this the district collectors and police superintendents shall take stock of the situation and ensure by next hearing (17th sep) that necessary conditions have been created for ensuring the safety and security of doctors in all government medical colleges and public hospitals.

@@mdalhamsaigal8689 looks like it is a chicken and egg story but it is not. The doctors are asking for safety which is not available (they are threatened regularly) and whatever has happened in last few weeks (Police cover up/ Health care system in WB) the doctors have every right to feel insecure. What they are asking for is CCTV cameras, resignation of Health secretary and Police chief which is nothing wrong. Once these are catered for, the doctors are willing to resume work!
