So could you do the 80's raspy singing/ high notes like say Stryper or Dokken or Warrant or Skid Row? Theyr'e a different kind of scream because there is a lot of note in it. Im havjng lots of trouble and curious how big your singing range is lol. I can do it clean but when it comes to rasp I sound like a dying old man with a 5 note range lol.

Might i request some tips on singing like Tim Mcilrath from rise against? I assume that it is based off rasp, but it still sounds a little off when i try to emulate it.

Blunt Question (heh): Do you think your highs sound way more amazing than your lows in grit/yell singing? I feel as though I'm the opposite if you think the same of yourself. For low grit, I use a lightened 'old-man' voice. I can't stretch those into highs too well, though. You should try it out or ask me to elaborate. Otherwise, ty for all the vids!
