I understand balance but why do women think it’s necessary, or healthy, to fight in a relationship?Disagreeing will happen but does it have to lead to name calling, finger pointing and bringing up past negative things that they’ve just waiting to use on us?

Because women want passion. A man who is willing to argue about something is seen as passionate. It's not necessarily about having one of those arguments where you tear each other down like they're your worst enemy, it's just about whether or not you care enough about some mundane thing to passionately argue your position. Being with someone you never disagree with about anything is, as she said, comfortable. But it makes one question if your connection is perhaps more platonic than intimate, or worse, if you're dating someone who is so afraid of upsetting you that they will simply agree with anything you suggest in order to avoid conflict/"keep you happy". This is viewed negatively, as it suggests you lack the self-respect to stand up for what you want/need and that you're so afraid to lose the other person because you don't know how to be your own person anymore. Or at least, that's how it's been explained to me by a few women I've known, including one or two that I dated at some point. Personally, I understand what you're saying, but I do believe there's a middle ground. Because again, I don't think she means "fought" in the sense of those types of arguments where you're just being mean and spiteful.

Romantic relationships are not a beautiful thing. Romance causes a lot of problems in this world. Life is a lot better without romance than it is with it. Romantic love is not special at all. Multiple studies have shown that women live happier and healthier lives being single then being married.

Look I understand what you mean but for some people romance is beautiful just like it's not beautiful for you

I don't know who told you this, but that person deliberately wants you to end up alone with a bunch of cats.

@@davidle4936 Studies also show that single women are far happier than their married peers, and that married women lose out in career earnings, career trajectory, health, and life expectancy compared to those single peers as well. Married women live shorter lives, and report lower levels of happiness than women who never marry. Single women live longer than married women. Also, according to many studies, women have higher rates of depression when married. Over half of all women today are single, by choice. Statistics indicate that single women tend to have the highest life expectancy on average.

@@davidle4936 Studies prove single, childless, women are the HAPPIEST demographic. Women are the happiest when single and focused on themselves. Statistically speaking, women are happiest when single and childless in today's times. Also, women can have friends and biological family that they share a life with. We as humans need the presence of other humans in our lives yes. But we can live alone. We don’t need romantic relationships to survive. We do need love and support, but it can be from friends and family. It does not need to be from a romantic partner.
