Flo, I am having Trouble! :( In your 3rd layer where you duplicate your Ellipse bubble, I follow exactly the steps and when i touch the original bubble , the effect is a black bubble with a light blue background, so it does not copy...I have gone over all your steps perfectly and it does not work. One difference I do see is Under the Automatic, there is Add,remove, invert...yours said " feather " mine is on ADD, i tried to take that off but can't, and I don't know if it makes a difference or not. I love LOVE your tutorials and REALLY want to do this one and this is stopping me.

I dont know if anyone still faces the problem with the second layer...I struggled so bad but now i got it. before you make the selction you have to go back to the layer with the white circle. There you set the selction to automatic und click. The Layer with the circle has to be the one active. Hope that helped any of you.

I have been having the same issue, so when it comes to automatic, I just ignore and it and turn off the second layer and I’m able to shade inside the bubble on layer 3

I finally figured out what I was doing wrong in the 1st step of selecting the circle. When in the selection I had my color fill selected so it was not allowing me just to select the circle when adding the first blue color. Figured this out after getting frustrated and moving on to the planet tutoring. I hope this helps someone else having difficulties with that 1st selection step in adding the color to your bubble!

That happened to me to, but if it doesnt work, just put it on a new layer, and select alpha lock on the layer the bubble is in. Hope this helped

Early in the video, (around the 1:55 minute time) when you use the Selection Tool Ellipse feature, and tap the screen to make it a circle. Does not work on my Procreate screen, it stays an ellipse. Is there a way to turn this feature on/off?

Hello! I’m not sure if you would know or not but I cannot get past the initial circle making with the “ribbon” button option. I have tried about six times. When I add the third layer and click on that ribbon button, I go and click on the circle initially made and my entire screen turns blue. It has the “add” button highlighted under (automatic/freehand/rectangle/ellipse) on that tool and that is the only thing I can see that’s different. I cannot unhighlight it. Any ideas? I really love your videos and really appreciate you making them!

I really want to do this but after I click the second layer after making the third and go to tap it on automatic, the add feature below automatic is lit up blue and I can only change it to remove, I cant unselect it like yours is.
