I can honestly say that I’ve been playing golf for 30 years and your videos have unlocked the logic of the golf swing. You have allowed me to use my athleticism in my golf swing! I played pro football and struggled with my gold game for years. I also played travel softball for years after being a 3 sport athlete all my life. Golf kicked my ass but I wanted to thank you for unlocking my golf swing for me! Everything you do makes so much sense for natural athletes. I encourage everybody to listen. It just works! Keep the videos coming! Thanks Steve!

Yes! This is what many people say. If a technique strips away your athleticism, you should run!

Hi Steve, i will be putting this to the test with our daughter Nilina. She has never played golf before and has a keen interest in starting. She know how much i like to watch your videos and has been watching all your videos now. I am sure your swing works just as well for female golfers? She was also very interested to know which female golfers swing like you. Do you have any any examples? My carry is over 250 since i started watching you over a year ago. I think that should be a easy goal for anyone following you.

This is gold - the effects of proper launch angle are incredible.. I’m still trying to optimize mine. Do you also swing up on the ball for a Fade?
@Inmotion703 жыл бұрын
I recommend it but it is a bit tougher. I like 14-15 launch for around 90 mph depending on how much roll your course yields.
@LeinonenHannu3 жыл бұрын
I can do 90 mph. Might max out at 100 mph in near future:-). but 250 drive feels like a lot to ask. I trust you and 250 is a good goal to aim at. Thanks for the thumbs up.

Hey Steve I love your videos and I am also a big fan of Mike Austin's swing. You have taught me so much! Quick question though lol. What kind of driver do you use ? The white driver you use is my favorite. My 400 dollar driver (Cobra Speedzone) I had for a year broke today. I keep pausing your videos but can't seem to find that driver you own online. Just don't feel like spending all that money again. Thanks in advance.

As an orthopaedic surgeon &golfer I would like to use Right inner thigh+left rib as a driving machine to move pelvis because pelvis itself has no muscle, it need muscle outside to move it

Sure, it's the musculature of the pelvis. The left adductor magnus and the gluteus medius of the right hip play a pivotal role.

My Swing speed was measured at 102 mph. I use a Calloway XR Pro 9 deg with Project X 6.0 stiff shaft. My Max carry is 240 - 250 with very little roll. In fact it seems to drop straight down and leave pitch marks. Other than swinging a lot faster how do I get the ball out to 270- 280 carry and increase roll ?.
@Inmotion703 жыл бұрын
Lower your backspin. At 102 mph I will generally carry it 260 with 285-290 roll out. Doesn't look like it's the club, so it must be the swing. Feel free to get a swing analysis at my site.

When you say 250 and you carry the ball 225 that's a runout of 25y ,I for one don't see that much run out of my shots,also what is needed to carry the ball 250 ?
@Inmotion703 жыл бұрын
If your shots don't have 10% run out, then your rate of backspin is likely too high. Yes some people play courses where fairways are less dry, sure. For a 250 carry, you would optimize your driver for carry and raise the clubhead speed to around 95 mph.
