I'll probably get mine bored at a machine shop too. I want a solid cross hatching. Awesome video I'm doing mine this winter hopefully.

Thanks for watching... everyone has their first;) Yes it is running like a champ now. If you watch the last video you will see it installed and running but sounds like crap. We went and got a new Fel-Pro exhaust manifold gasket and took off the one that came with our rebuild kit and that fixed the roughness and it sounds great now.

Best way to clean the pickup tube screen as with a small blow torch it will burn the carbon right off used to do it all the time with 2-stroke engine Mufflers screens when they were clogged up with carbon

Where did you purchase the rebuild kit?
@BigRedFishDad5 жыл бұрын
I don't remember I just searched online and of course went with the cheaper one that had good reviews-----but I think I mentioned in a later video I should have gone with a different one this one didn't have the rod bearings (back ordered) and I ended up getting a different exhaust intake gasket as well because the one in the kit was so cheap. It looked like that bubble insulation for metal buildings. So I ended up spending another $50.
