How does it work with the new-ish FCA security gateway? How does it compare to a shop-style scanner like the T8 I just finished watching?

Thanks for watching! We just received this information from TopDon direct: "Topscan is expected to support unlocking FCA gateway models by the end of March. Additionally, as a handheld diagnostic device, we do not recommend comparing it with other high-end diagnostic devices. Our high-end diagnostic equipment is the Phoenix series."

Does the Topscan revert to OBD2 only, once the subscription ends, or is it fully usable, just without updates?

Hi there thanks for watching! I checked with TopDon and after one year the OBD code readeing will function but the other diagnostic functions will no longer work without a software renewal 👍
