ANYTHING HERE? Costa Smeralda - Episode 4: Savona, Italy

Welcome back to my channel, and welcome back to my latest vlog series! In this series, we’re exploring one of the biggest and newest ships from Costa Cruises: Costa Smeralda.
In my last episode, I showed you what Palermo, Sicily looked like to visit by cruise ship. Today, it's time for another port - Savona, Italy! Fun fact - Savona is where Costa Cruises have their head office. However, we're not going there today - we're going to be exploring the city itself! We've got plans to see the city, head off and see the fortress and then come back onboard to see what's going on in the sunshine!
In this series, Smeralda will be visiting various ports in Spain, France and Italy - let's go and explore some more of Europe together!

Quaint Italian municipality 👍. Laundry reminds why (one of many reasons) I stick to Princess in North America - self serve laundry 😀. & oh my, don’t get me started😂. I’m at the live Jazz lounge every night, 💙 it ! Like to see Costa’s take on jazz entertainment. Discovery Princess had a nightly theme. Great live music with the all the history 🥃

Yeah, I love self service laundry - that was the great thing about Cunard for Panama - they had that too! The jazz lounges are good fun - SO chilled out!

Always great to know that some of these places are available to see at a port without taking an excursion...what I can walk to is where I'll go. I do enjoy history, but some can be too much...but it has added to who we are today. I am still very impressed with Costa!! They need to give you some free cruises for your coverage!! lol Great stuff!! Bruce and Otis

I totally agree with you guys - I love walking off from the ship and seeing what’s there. More than anything else, it’s expensive to take excursions, so I tend to avoid it! If you know anyone who can give me a free cruise, I’ll be their best friend forever, haha! Thanks for watching as always guys!!

There must be something to see in Savona? Don't need to go to Genoa. Can do on another cruise. ( I mean l wouldn't travel 30 miles away from Savona. Some might.)

I am so intrigued by Costa. That room looks so nice; esp the conservatory. I wonder if I would like the entertainment. they all seem to do acrobatics but the dudes on costa seem extra hot; interesting to know that the ship is warm. italians like it hot?
