I love how she sings, as if she can't contain the phrases she's about to unleash. That's what makes a singer, not a voice, or a body, but the way you sing.

And the phrases/lyrics...just. YUM. Saw her once in Alabama. Probably close to 30yrs ago. For When the Pawn🙋✌️

Atmospheric, revealing Fiona at her very best. Saw her in London a few years ago, an exceptional and compelling artist. Many thanks for this great video.

Never thought that she had been in the UK. Have looked out for her but been told it was unlikely as she is terrified of flying. You are a lucky man Paul.

I use a Sony DSC-W350. The model is about two years old. It's one of the few compact cameras with a strong mic and steady HD filming I've worked with.

Hello myglaren. Yes I saw her in April 2006, at the Victoria Apollo. Here is the set list; www.setlist.fm/setlist/fiona-apple/2006/apollo-victoria-london-england-6bd4ba86.html. I've been a long standing Aimee Mann, John Brion fan and waited for a long time to see her and she didn't disappoint. I hope she comes back soon and you manage to see her too.

its a song about kids pretending to be adults, or adults pretending to be kids pretending to be adults.. I havent quite figured that out yet :) the whole fascination children have with freedom and getting to do "anything we want" ties in with this verse but yeah a little girl drawing on the wall, a little boy playing UFC rookie.. then we grow up.. take our clothes off..

I LOVE Fiona... BUT... what do the lyrics at 3:08 "play UFC rookie" mean?? Somekind of an MMA reference?? Maybe I understood wrongly? I wish her new album had some quicker tempo jams on it but these slow jams are fine too!!

She was dating Jonathan Ames, author and amateur boxer, during the writing of this album, so it's almost certainly a reference to his fighting. There's an article on Gawker where you can see Fiona kissing him while he's in a boxing ring.

many children pretend to be wrestlers during playtime. The lyric has no hidden meaning but is a straight forward description of what a child does.

Great song. The song is a sad song. The song is about abuse. She loved him in the beginning. He beat her in the end. Fiona Apple's lyrics can make the ugly look pretty. People cheering during the parts where the boyfriend turned ugly is sad.

Fiona if this was MMA. I would say put on some lbs. With a little weight you can take on Adele. It's a bad joke. But please, take care of your self. Without you... girls might only have Ke$ha. And what a f'd up world that might be.
