@@rebeccafrankenstein5808 …are you in vigorous agreement or disagreement?….I can’t tell….(by the way, a time cannot come soon enough…when the use of “Lol” will become part of some weird lexicon we scrapped when we all suddenly realized just how devoid of substance it really is!).

everyone has vibrato in their voice naturally if people sing correctly unless using a hammer vibrato technique, some people may have tighter or loser vibrato than others, most people train their voice to only sing straight tone to sound mainstream, vibrato is not difficult
@zeroceiling2 жыл бұрын
@@jacqueline-delphine5160 ..you are right..in that vibrato occurs often quite naturally as an unconscious process by which vocal muscles temporarily seek relief from tension placed on them. The point which I was making..and actually identified it very clearly I think…is that she had a very “controlled”…and actually subtly controlled vibrato….something well trained singers can do effectively. General vibrato…is different than vibrato that can be speeded up…slowed down..made more prominent or less prominent..at the full control of the singer. Good singers have a better..more effective…fine control of this effect…most average singers do not.

Is there nothing this woman can't sing and truly make it her own? I mean, this is an old Conway Twitty ballad that was probably was recorded before 80% (higher?) of the fans in her audience were even born! But. like everything else she does, she sings it with passion and power. . .Fiona Forever!

That moment at 5:11 looks insane!! In a super cool, screen-shot way. I mean... She has no head and the upright player looks demented. lol. Oh! But other than that... I love this woman's soul. I hope she puts out several more albums in the coming years. She is my favorite poet.

Fiona is a genius,but was born 30 years too late. In the 60's the Beatles,Dylan and Brian Wilson would have worshipped her.
@m.a.g.39208 жыл бұрын
Don't think so, Fiona needs in some way to be here and now, her style is too raw and quirky for those times, even if it was a very creative time. I imagine her maybe playing with Tim buckley, but look at him, he was understimated for the same reasons as Fiona is and would have been, too honest for the most of ears. Im happy and proud to know that she owns our years, this era needs her to bright as a decent time.
