Hi -I the freq on GMRS are 462 mhz to 467 -talk groups are a digital talk group room i think check with your local Ham Radio club.

Hi M0FXB I have successfully created a codeplug for my anytone 868. a small one with about 8 tg. I have made a few contacts and have heard a few ppl talk. However everyone i hear is from the dmr repeater area no one is from any tg area that I programmed into the code plug. For instance I did Puerto Rico, Texas, North America, east coast, newjersey and do not hear anyone from let's say Puerto Rico but when I get on the hose line in brandmeister I there can hear people from Puerto Rico talking but not on my anytone but I successfully written the codeplug to my anytone. And I do not see or hear myself on the brandmeister hose line I TRIED that too, what you think I'm doing wrong????

Ok Andreas I'm sorry for going on but I need to understand. You say that when you enter a talk group it has to be the same frequency as your hotspot. So how do you determine which frequency to enter ? Plus I'm hoping you use a jumbo hotspot so could you please do a video of how you set this up. 73 de 2E0AGB

The frequency is in the channel then the channel is put in to a zone .

It sounded like you were doing this to incorporate a hotspot, I am a newby and confused here as I thought you had to put the Tx frequency and the Rx frequency as 434.00000

Not doing a Hotspot. Doesn't work. 7yr amateur extra ham. Not fluid at all. It's a pain in the ass...

just have to say this. this program just plain sucks. no way to copy a few lines of channels and add them to a second file OR if you run a second instance it will not copy to it either. what junior programmer wrote this CRAP .

@@HamTechRadioScannerDrones This program does NOT follow the "normal" convention used by Windows , OSX , or linux . when it comes to copy and paste it's RUBBISH. compare it to the program sold by www.rtsystemsinc.com/Handhelds_c_486.html take a look at it here being used to program a FTD3x Yaesu . the shame is RT systems does not yet make it for the 878uv , the rt systems program allows cut and paste . any of us can download a plug and then cut pieces for quite a lot of brands and models . anyways SORRY for venting , guess I will put this radio up for sale as it's useless to me
