1b) 15 times
2) 18 green marbles
3) ½
4) 1/37
5) 1/37
6) I would expect the experimental probability to decrease and get closer to the theoretical probability.
This video is an introduction to theoretical probability. We explain what it is and how to find it for a given event. We also do some example problems and compare experimental probability with theoretical probability.

For "on your own" question 1b, how did you get 15? Can you explain please? 😁

Hi Lina. No worries. Did you get 1/3 for part A? In the words "Anywhere Math" there are 2 A's and 2 E's out of 12 total letters. So the probability of choosing an "a" or "e" is 4/12, which simplifies to 1/3. In other words, 1 out of every 3 times we choose a letter, we would expect to choose an "a" or "e". So for Part B, if we choose a letter 45 different times, we would expect 1/3 of the times to choose an "a" or "e". And 1/3 of 45 is 15. You do 1/3 times 45 to get 15 or you can set up a proportion like example 2 where 1/3 = x/45. Either way, you should get the same answer. I hope that helps. Let me know.👍
