I realize this is an older video, but in all of the years I have been in the body shop, I have never had to remove the grill on these trucks in order to remove/replace the headlights.

Thank you. I wish they could give awards for tutorial videos, because this was precise, included everything needed to to do a similar project on my own, and nothing more. I replaced my headlights in 30 minutes with no issues because of this video. I'll be on the lookout for Anzo products in the future because of this video.

I bought similar lights a few months ago for my '09 GMC. My LED lights are horizontal between the low and high beam and parking lights. I like the vertical pattern these have. I wish I would have seen this sooner. My only complaint on these lights are the turn signal lights are nowhere near as bright as the O.E.M part because the dark finish. As far as the disassembly, those grill clips aren't as easy to remove as you show so I didn't unfasten them. I didn't remove the 10mm bolt from under the light because it is difficult to get your hand in there. With the grill in place and the bottom bolt in place, you just have to be a little more careful and maneuver and angle it differently and it will slide into place. Overall, your demonstration was great.

I have a set of u bar lights but they have a red and black wire on the back is the wire to power the u bar part of the light

Can you replace the low beams with LED’s? Or are you stuck with running halogen bulbs?

These fit great and look great but you cannot adjust them up enough to safely use on the street. I emailed the company about it but I guess they don't care enough to email me back. Don't buy them unless you have a light bar or something that you can drive with.

No need to loosen grill. Light comes right out. The bottom bolt just loosen it. No need to take all the way out

Changing a headlight on this truck seems like a big pain in the but. I know you would have to take the housing off to change it.

Curious This is the same light as an 09 avalanche correct? Does anyone know if the avalanche has that main wire connection too?

That would be incorrect. The 09 Chevy Avalanche has the same headlight as the Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban not a GMC Sierra

No, those are not supposed to be removed. You are just making it a million times harder for yourself. Those two hold on the bumper clip. It makes for easy install/removal. Most cars/trucks come with this similar setup now days. Take the two small 7mm ones out in the wheel well and give the bumper top a good tug and it comes off.

I wish I could've used the H11 bulbs in the new lights. I had just replaced them 6 months before. I've already had to replace one of the H1 bulbs. Hope it doesn't happen too often, those bulbs are nearly $30 a piece. The days of replacing a headlight for $5 are long gone.

So why won't they adjust properly? I just installed a set and the adjuster will not bring the lights up to a safe proper level! They are dangerous to drive. I like the install video but no where is there a headlight aiming video that can cast any light on why they will not adjust properly!

The low beams are just as bright as the original part. I find the high beams are much brighter.

Visibilty is horrible for these. Little to NO adjustability. Didn't actually realize till after purchase that they use SMALL foglight bulbs for low and high beam. My factory fog lights with leds disperse more light than these light assemblies. (Strictly for show.)
