I just got back 3 days ago from 5 weeks in Bangkok, Koh Phangan and Phuket. There was some rain but never really anything that seriously disrupted my enjoyment. I concluded that May (low season) was a really good time to be on Koh Phangan and Phuket as prices were lower, there was always availability - be it rooms, seats in restaurants, motorbikes for rent, service providers were generally very willing (even more than usual) to help etc. So I recommend May if you want good value, uncrowded places and don't mind a little rain (of course you take your chances there).

Like Sai said... the hotel was very nice for the price, good time of year to be there. I laughed so hard about the LBs, second time I was in Thailand one grabbed me so hard I had a hard time getting away and her voice was twice as deep as yours Adam, I was shocked and amused at the same time. The food looked delicious as usual, I couldn’t understand what the dish was that you said was your favorite, did it have eel in it, the smoked eel is one of my favorites. Hotel pricing is seasonal in southern beach areas. Half price is common after May 15 and you still get some good weather this time of year. It looks very enticing. 😉

*quiet. Low season in Thailand due to rain. The rainy season is from June to October. Rates are cheap but less tourist.

Why its less people is becuse most people come there in april and like december, januari . juni is a bad time being in Thailand weather wise if you comepare. I mean I would still go what ever time to Thailand becuse I just love Thailand. But best time Is december to april. I where just in Thailand brom 23 mars to 19 may. And I dont want anything else then to go back. Krabi is one of mr favorit places but I also love Chiang mai. Nice video keep them up. So I got something to dream on to next time;)
