Shiro is one of the best Dad's in anime, and I love Rin, he's such a perfect protagonist to this kind of story, Rin may act out and might be a bit of a punk, but despite whatever he says, he loves his father, because Shiro was more of Rin and Yukio's father than Satan ever could be, Rin's a good kid, with good friends and a good family, Rin doesn't just want to become an exorcist so he can kill Satan, but so that he can make his father proud, I hope that when this anime continues, we get to see Shiro's soul for a short time, and just see Rin and Yukio hug him, until he fades away, that would truly be a highlight for this franchise

My eyes are stinging aswell, someone must've just started cutting mutant onions because I'm literally losing gallons of tears listening to this. Well in my opinion there are a few better jump animes like for me there is naruto. It maynot have quite as good of fights (well unless its the ones that are super fast) there is much more depth to it however that is only because naruto has been running for much longer. I have always believed that the naruto speeches were better. Blue exprcist is very in depth for how long its been running. My favorite character is shiro and he was only officially around for 2 episodes. He is like the jarriya of blue exorcist. He is both the wise man and father figure. First non main character to be my favorite

Could not agree more about jarriya and shiro. They are just the kind of characters whose deaths mean something to the main character which makes them stronger and makes the story better despite them being dead. They will always be one of my fav characters.

megan noble just like 2 of the best characters in my mind, shiro and jarriya in their deaths in a sense beat the final villian. When naruto took juubi out of him and all, obito thought about how naruto beat him and his will and then said "i guess in the end, it was really jarriya who had beaten me" and shiros examppe and what he did drove rin to defet satan

The composer is Hiroyuki Sawano but I don’t know what the soundtrack is called, I’ll edit this when I find out so that y’all can support the composer and not some random person who reposts music with no credits. First time I watched Blue Exorcist/Ao No Exorcist: Okay, I won't cry, Shiro can't die, I mean he's the father, but not the father of the main characters, being RIn, and Yukio. I kept on telling myself not to cry, until it turned over to Rin crying...that's when I cried hard. I normally cry whenever the main character of the anime, and or side character that has connections to the main character, cries. And god dang-it Cosmic! This song is one of the best soundtracks in An no Exorcist. Crap... This fits my story... About a few months ago, I lost a very good friend good friend of mine due to cancer... I had been struggling with it for about 4-5 years... Then, on the beginning of may, I got a call from his mom that he had passed... I was in complete shock and almost committed suicide...
