What's the one thing you'd like to see at AOAA? Tell us!
@TimPaddy2 жыл бұрын
Anything centered around dirtbikes. Maybe a peewee loop for the kids. AOAA gets a lot of flack from dirtbike riders, I'm typically laughed at if I recommend it to people.
@bhalls100 Жыл бұрын
Single track! Unfortunately, aoaa has zero challenging trails for dirt bikes. Some of the jeep trails look ok but dirt bikes aren't allowed.

Allow quads on blue trails. I have been on them with my side by side, and I know confidentiality I can do them on my quad.

I love riding there but the biggest problem I have is the hours of operation. Especially in summer I drive 3+ hrs each way and so do a lot of people make the trails sun up to sun down and how about some night riding . I don't wait to hear it's to dangerous plenty of places in Tennessee and Kentucky have 24-7 riding and it's amazing. Not going to stop going but it can be better. Just my 2cents.

Grade and widen some of the trails. If you just want to putt-putt or have a Jeep it’s fine. But there isn’t anywhere to really go fast. Every trail is a rock garden.
@oledirtehoffroad14162 жыл бұрын
only thing id like to see is longer hours. driving 3 hours to have to be out by 5-6 is rough. if we could wheel later when it actually cools down would be great
@ExtremeMetalproducts2 жыл бұрын
Agree. Hard ro justify a 6 hour drive from Ohio.
@brianoswald69702 жыл бұрын
I agree too. FR you can ride to sun down.

Longer evening hours for sure. We stayed at the campground the other week. Had a great time! Would have been nice to ride til 7.

Been going to Aoaa since 16. It keeps getting better and better every year. Dave and his staff are more than accommodating to the riders and their needs
@ally1011902 жыл бұрын
One of the biggest downfalls of riding here is the time there open. A lot of us who travel here wish it was open longer times most the year.

Hopefully they can expand the hours in the future.

Been going to AOAA once a year or so since it opened and it has always been a great experience. In my opinion AOAA is a representation of how to do things right, it is well marked, maintained, clean, professional and family friendly. While they have recently opened thier campground I'm eagerly awaiting the addition of full hookups for RV's as that would greatly increase our time spent there.

Totally agree!

@@TheBeatenTrail as I ride bikes and sxs I would add hopefully some singletrack will be cut in soon. I know there is some but it's pretty well hidden.

Mike, just got back this weekend from AOAA group of 9 of us. Only reason we wemt was from your videos. Everyone loved AOAA, Shmokin, Trails End B&B, we even met Dave. We will definitely be going back. Thanks Mike!!!

Been twice this year going again Wednesday, would like to see a hose at the parking lot for flushing out radiators, especially when staying overnight at the camp ground, oh and maybe build some cabins and showers - I know camp ground doesn't belong to them but I'm sure they can pass along suggestions.

Widen and grade some of the trails (not all). Other than the access roads, every trail off of them is a rock field.

They have a list of air BNBs on the AOAA website, when we stayed overnight, we opted to use one of those, some have big lots for trailer and rides. If not, you can stay at the Comfort or Country inn, which is about 20 mins from AOAA.

Allow quads on blue trails. I have been on the majority of your blue trails with my side by side, and I know with confidence I could do them on my quad. It is such a shame we can't be on them to challenge our riding, especially since I do not play in the mud.

Its a good challenge, just the rocks without a skid plate can destroy the undercarriage of an ATV or SXS.

As a local, I think it's great to have the AOAA riders being able to drive into town and get gas/food.. One problem that i have with this, all the local atv drivers drive all over Shamokin because of the rules that AOAA has had installed. I think AOAA should have a card or something to prove that they are with AOAA. Just a thought as a local, thanks for listening.
