Thanks for visiting and checking out the video! This was one of the best sections of trail we hit on our trip. It was a ton of fun driving down the mountain in this drainage washout. This trail was quite long and scenic. It had a ton of huge rocks, boulders and logs to get over. The skid plates and rock sliders took a beating on this one! A few years ago when we were here I believe we actually drove up this section of trail. I never released any video from that trip but making these videos reminded me about that adventure. I still have all the content on a hard drive and think I will try and dig through some of it and post the better sections when I get a chance. As many of you know, editing these videos takes a ton of time and being a one man show when it comes to editing makes it hard for me to keep up. I struggle finding enough time to edit it all. I've been grinding lately trying to catch up but it's tough since I'm always creating new content so as I get through some I just add more, lol. Regardless, stay tuned because I have a lot more on the way! Thanks for all of your support everyone, all the positive feedback fuels me to grind harder. See ya in the next video.

Where I live in 🇨🇦 north of Maine there are a lot of places you can take an ATV that the bigger, longer, wider SXS can’t go. Never the opposite. Which makes hearing you say a person would have to be insane to follow you guys on an ATV all the more impressive. I’ve had ATV’s and dirt bikes some pretty crazy places in over 50 years of biking. Keep up the good work and thank you.
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Жыл бұрын
Hey Gary, there’s no doubt that lots of people that are skilled on an ATV could ride this type of terrain I just feel that on an ATV you need a lot more skill for certain types of trails. In a SXS the reality is if you have a well setup machine it does a lot of the work for you. Also, if you lay over a SXS you have a lot more protection around you. On a SXS you don’t need to shift your weight or move around. It’s more stable in general due to the size. If you lay over on your side then as long as you keep your arms in your usually ok but on an ATV you need to think about bailing properly or you get hurt. There a ton of places an ATV can get that a SXS can’t even dream of getting and in the same way a ton of places a dirt bike could get where an ATV or SXS couldn’t. Just some context to what I was thinking when I said that. Glad you enjoy the videos!!

@@AdrenalineJunkieProd Yes I’ve ridden motorcycles for over 50 years and started riding ATV’s about 40 years ago. Bought my first SXS in 2018. I don’t have the type of trails you run on here or I may have kept it. Went back to ATV. I love using body English on both ATV’s and motorcycles. Though I need to be honest and those trails you are on might be beyond my skill set lol. Though even at the ripe old age of 66 I would love to try. Thanks for the content. Love it. Good vid! We went to ivy branch last year. It was fun but small. We stayed at big earls. There’s another bigger campground next to it Rivers edge I think. But Little Coal River trails are just across the road from those campgrounds. It used to be H&M but they lost their lease and now it’s all outlaw trails. I want to go back and ride it some more. It’s usually just my wife and I we both have our own buggy so we don’t get too crazy. We hit all the black trails but double blacks we seat away from because as you know recovery can require more than 2 ppl.BTW Lifetime trail maps covers little coal river trails

Went up 71 before our group ended up breaking 3 axles. Going up is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY harder than going down. I'm really hoping you get a chance to try taking your CFMoto on a trail like this. I'm curious if it could actually do a trail like 71 up or down. Be super cool to have you do your RZR 1 day then the next day hit the exact same trail and try to follow the same line in the CFMoto, for a true side by side comparison since trail and driver skill are such big variables.

Lol, ya I was smack talking a bit to have some fun. Looks like you guys are paying attention. Like I said the goal wasn’t to ruffle any feathers just to have some fun. We have some good uphill sections comin. If you watch our videos you know we like to bust chops. Some of these sections are wild just goin down. With a group this size goin up this section would likely take all day and since we drive 12 hours just to get here we don’t wanna wreck the machines first day or in the morning. It’s not an excuse, just the logic behind why we can’t go hit every hill full send. The one channel in particular I was hinting at has done some less then respectful things recently so I figured they deserved a jab or two, lol. I dish it out so it’s fair if you guys fire back. I can take the flack 😉😉 As for TN, love your state. We recently got back from a trip down your way and it was awesome!! That’s gonna be the next video series once WV is done. What do you mean man… it’s easy. Just read some of the comments of the people busting our chops for going down trails instead of up, lol 😂 All joking set aside, I think your only real issue in sections like this would be ground clearance and as a result your machine would take a beating and you could potentially run into some issues. You’ve probably heard me say it many times before William, different machines need different terrain. Sections of trail some of the newer bigger machines just cruise over are actually really fun and technical trails for a smaller unit. In the end you might actually get to enjoy more. It’s like the analogy some people use for motorcycles. It’s more fun to ride a 125cc bike at 110% non stop then to putt around the same trails at 50% on a 450cc bike. The goal is always the same, to get out and have fun. If your having fun then you’re a winner.

Awesome Joe!! Have a wicked trip, I bet your excited.... you should be!! I think if you could likely get down this trail if you chose your lines wisely and sensibly. Your biggest issue would be ground clearance so like I said in the video, you'd want at least a 30 inch tire which is quite a bit of tire for that machine. A serious breakdown in the middle of this trail would be a nightmare of a recovery though.

Hey Steve. You’ll see more of the general in action in the next episode. It handled the terrain very well. He has a lot of work done to the machine, loads of accessories but nothing crazy as far as performance mods. Stock wheels and tires I believe. 30s I think. Suspension is stock. Down is fun, up is fun, just being out on the trails in general is fun. Any day on the trails beats a day not on the trails. As for the CFMOTO, we didn’t get it we bought it. With a demo unit you can’t really do what you want. This way we can say what we want and do what we want. It’s gonna be an unbiased review of how the machine functions and we can modify it as we please. It should be a good time. I have no idea what to expect, lol.

General question but do you sometimes feel the Battlewagon is a little top heavy for some of the trails you ride on? It does a great job but sometimes looks a little tipsy. Guess it has enough low center mass that it rights itself fairly easily. Great videos!!!
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Жыл бұрын
Ya it is too too heavy in this configuration. That’s why I got rid of the rear rack and the spare tire. With the new cage setup it feels wayyyy better. The front wheels would lift way too easy with all the gear and spare one like it’s setup here. Now that I’ve changed it up it feels way more planted and I’m way happier with it. On the last trip to TN recently it felt a lot better. I’ve also been thinking about dropping the ride height about an inch or so to drop the centre of gravity even more.

@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Жыл бұрын
I really like them. I find they are great all around tires. I’d say they were moderately. Not fast by any means. I’m happy with the wear and I’ve been hard on them. I don’t beat on them when I’m on the road but besides that I’m hard on them. They are predicable, handle well, and are tough. I also think they look pretty good, not that looks are a huge deciding factor. Price point is also quite good.

are you running those 32's on 14 or 15" rims and are you using spacers?
@AdrenalineJunkieProd
@AdrenalineJunkieProd Жыл бұрын
The tires in running here are a 34x10x15 Tusk Megabite. Sitting on 15 inch tusk beadlock wheels with a 5+2 offset I believe. So quite close to stock. Makes the machine about 67 inches wide. These tires measure a little small and come in at about 32.5 inches on the machine at 8psi. So more of a 33 then a true 34. No spacers. I hate spacers. I avoid them at all costs.
