It’s exactly what CNN and Fox do. CNN intentionally omits facts and adds a stronger emotional pull to certain aspects of a story. They also just don’t cover some stories. Fox is just as guilty of it. The end result is somebody who listens to Fox and other conservative points of view thinks that CNN viewers are idiots. Just like CNN viewers typically think Fox viewers are uninformed. A perfect example from earlier this week. Biden was doing some event and said “two words, made in America.” A republican congresswoman later on and sent out a tweet mocking him saying two words let’s go Brandon. Everybody on the left piled up on her saying she was an idiot for not knowing how to count. I think that's a fairly good argument and is certainly evidence of provokation; then again it could be because he knows he doesn't have many years left in him so there's a sudden urgency, or it could be economic reasons. It's an important question to ask because if his reasons are situational then there's a good chance any replacement would follow the exact same policy.

Before that there was never a threat of Russia invading Ukraine. So you have to think either Russia just happened to start wanting to invade Ukraine right when the pro Russian government got overthrown and replaced with a US government, or that Russia wanted to maintain there control of Ukraine because the US was taking that control away from them. I think the 2nd one is much more likely.

I agree that NATO has to deescalate and commit to not putting any offensive weapons near Russia's borders but that doesn't remotely justify the Russian invasion. Right now Russia is predominantly the one bringing us closer to nuclear war but hopefully some kind of peace agreement can be reached where NATO deescalates and Russia commits to never invading its neighbors again. There's definitely a lot of fraud and waste (as usual) with the Ukraine arms spending but unless Ukraine fends off the invasion, they won't have the leverage to negotiate a healthy peace agreement

Kyle says the first 2 packages to Ukraine were ok instead of promoting a peace deal to end the war. Then he says Russia invaded Ukraine (fact) but he's assuming it was without provocation. NATO was literally at the border with Russia by threatening to add Ukraine to NATO. C'mon Kyle!

NATO has not expanded towards Russia since 2004 (this was likely a mistake but also involved the free choice of countries whose history has been marked by Russian impearilsm to join) and everyone knew there was no chance of Ukraine ever joining NATO. Clearly this is not a good enough explanation for events that occured 20 years later.
