Pirro just misled the gullible Fox News audience, but what can you expect from a "news" agency that was ordered to pay almost $800 MILLION for LYING about the Dominion voting machines. RICO is not a crime. It is a collection of 35 separate and distinct statutes, of which the violation of two within a ten year period are needed to trigger a RICO indictment. That's the federal level. In Georgia there are about 50 RICO statutes and no time limit. Grand Jury testimony in Georgia incriminated Trump, Ghouliani and other co-conspirators there and resulted in 41 RICO charges. Bobulinksi was unable to name even a single crime under RICO he claims he witnessed Biden committing. Not a single one. A fair and rational citizen would conclude that there is more than reasonable doubt about the "guilt" of the Biden family.

Don't confuse penalties for fines. Much of the penalties are disgorgement, which is a legal term that means essentially, you don't get to keep what you stole. Also, if you stole money from a financial institution, you have to pay interest.

@@texaskippen Let me answer your question with a hypothetical that might be closer to home. Let's say that you decide to invest in a certificate of deposit (CD). The terms of this CD are you give the bank $50K for a term of one year and it is supposed to pay you 5% return. Now, if at the end of that one year term, the bank gives you back your $50K, plus an additional $20. Are you going to think that was fair, since they returned all of the money they borrowed from you, plus a little more? This is essentially, what Trump did in reverse. The banks were due more profit and Trump cheated them out of their profit. I'm oversimplifying quite a bit, because in reality, what Trump did is much, much worse and hurt many other people, but it would take too long to explain it all. Hopefully, my little example will at least convince you that it was not a victimless crime. If you are not convinced, then can I borrow $50K? I promise to pay it back.
