AOC’s ‘bizarre’ capitalism theory

Sky News host James Morrow says Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest theory about capitalism is “bizarre”.
Ms Ocasio-Cortex claimed young people living under capitalism are not having children, and a higher immigration intake is needed to “balance things out”.
“She has no idea what capitalism is,” Sky News host Daisy Cousens said.

The argument is that as capitalism has developed, and the rich became richer trhough various means (manufacturing offshore to make higher profits (meaning less jobs locally), property speculation, mass importation of cheap labour undercutting wage growth and raising unemployment) eventually the financial lot of the average person wasn't enough to provide even the basics needed to start a family - a place to live, stable work with a living wage, and affordable cost of living.
