Sumireko's story is about Doremy literally fucking with her dreams and doing damage control on her since ULiL which appearently resulted in the second dream version of Sumireko appearing in Gensokyo. Pretty crazy huh?

Sumireko's dream self wasn't dislodged in ULiL, but a short time later. She was the first one possessed by Jo'on, then went to visit Rinnosuke, which allowed the sisters to get into Gensokyo in the first place. So this whole incident is just cleaning up Sumireko's mess!
