NOTHING beats a real pipe organ! But my goodness, this thing is amazing -- and it would fit into my house, to boot! So much fun to listen to a master play this. Beautiful! Congratulations to Allen Organ for a most excellent organ that's way more affordable than a full pipe organ, and sounds terrific!

Aside from the well established majesty of his musicianship, I know from personal experience there is no finer organ design engineer than Hector. It's about time an instrument carried his name! This organ is an awesome reflection of Hector's deep love for the performance of classically oriented compositions of all varieties. And knowing Hector, he, no doubt, made sure a talented musician can even coax a surprising range of the pops repertoire from the wide and well thought out tonal range of this organ's state-of-the-art digital technology.

This is an amazing organ! Hector is a wonderful musician and it is wonderful to hear him describe it also. I hope this instrument makes a huge impact on the purchases of fine organs in churches today. Great work Steve on the direction of your company!!! I service some Allen organs in my area of different years of manufacturing. I love the support the service and parts people provide to me in performing this work. The ONLY company that truly supports the end user.... the customer better than ANY other company in existence!

You are amazing, Hector! I thoroughly enjoyed your demonstration of the Allen organ. I was fortunate to have my own at home when I was an organ student. My husband and I actually drove through corn fields in Macungie, PA to get to the Allen Organ Co. Showrooms where we chose the perfect one!

Great demonstration, I can't help but notice how massive his hands are though. Great video! I especially love how the 32' shakes the camera.

I missed the green froggy ! Hector Olivera, I am so glad you are now on a real classical organ. The Allen is the best organ in the world. Only some of the big pipe organs can compete.

Hector, what is the stop list for thus organ? How many channels? Any diapaison on the pedals? My GF has a younger sister who is learning the organ on a Schlicker Pipe Organ. Her instrument is a 7 manual with 107 ranks (divisions Pedal, accompanied, solo, Great, Swell, Positiv, choir and Orchestral). What arw the buttons at the sides of the manuals for? I kniw that there arw generally general piston buttons under the manuals as well as division pistons and tutti.

I’m curious why he he is referring to the great as the bottom manual? In most 3 manual instruments I’ve encountered the great is the middle manual with the choir on bottom and swell on top. Is that not the case for this instrument?
@aocvideo5 жыл бұрын
The HO-85 manual layout is standard: Swell at the top, then Great followed by the Choir. Hector is using the GT-CH TRANSFER coupler for this demonstration as he is used to playing French works where thumbing up or down is needed to play the piece properly. Switching the manuals using this coupler makes this all possible. We apologize for not pointing this out at the beginning of this demonstration. For a look at the HO-85 Stop List you can view it here www.allenorgan.com/church-organs/ho85.html
