The only thing worse than not backing Ukraine, is providing just enough support to give them hope, but not enough to win. THis will result in thousands of unnecessary lives lost and billions of wasted dollars. Arm Ukraine to Win!

Please do an episode on reforming the procurement process. We need a massive build up, which seems either impossible, or just prohibitively expensive, if we do it the way we're currently doing it. It seems like most of the top brass acknowledges the problem, and there are many proposals on how to reform the system. I'd love an overview from Hudson.

US must start instilling confidence with FRIENDLY NATIONS …..like INDIA….you cannot have your covert agencies ploy useless plots against India and expect them to reciprocate friendliness…❌❌❌. There is a trust deficit , Indians like Russia bcoz despite all Russia has stood with India in thick and thin….. that is sadly not the case with Amrikka ☹️

I agree with her. I would consider pre-February 2022 borders a win. BUT! Those "borders" included Crimea and All of the Donbas! russia invading and occupying them did NOT change the legal international borders of Ukraine!! The demarcation between russian and Ukrainian forces before Feb. '22 are NOT borders! The territory on both sides belongs to Ukraine. And as long as russians occupy them, Ukraine will be nation crippled by russian aggression.

A poem I wrote covering many of the topics discussed...I should title it Arsenal of Democracy A pale blue dot, our home, it we call, Floating alone as if lost in space, They say it’s a small world after all Every time we meet a familiar face. When a strangers face at MEPS, you meet, Pause…in their eyes you can find a trace, Of them standing there, in their bare feet. Walking in skivvies like a duck, To see if they’re fit to defeat, With healthy body and touch of luck, The rattling saber’s and sad chest thump. Of little big men running amok, On the seven seas, daring to bump Autonomous nations off the map; Cut them down, leave them a burning stump. Who will give them their deserved slap, For those who can’t, who will strongly stand? Who will stop them when they pull more crap? When they make an unruly demand, Of weaker nations who stand little chance, Against that fleets encroaching command. Merchants harassed by a bullies glance, Or forced to flee from a fearsome blockade. Who stands guard with torpedo and lance, To keep clear the way for those waylaid? What sentry will challenge in the night, Piracy and nations, renegade? Sailor, it’s you who must project might. Naval force, for Honor & Glory. With courage to see and set things right. Giving honor to her great history, Those who’ve died guarding the open sea. From our dread foes inflammatory Aggressions to control what is free For fishers, merchants and ships that cruise. But not those who work in secrecy. Law and order they flat-out refuse To follow; they cannot comprehend. How their savage greed works to confuse Their thoughts such that they can’t apprehend Their dark state of utter degradation. Lady Justice sails to reprehend These scurvy merchants of stagnation. Her scales are tipping, ready, Her sword, To defend the civilization Bound to Antiquity by a cord On which the just walk, the guilty, hang. It’s the Law which mankind can’t afford To sever, by it, Liberty rang Around the world, reverberating Still in Church and State, with every bang On Independence Day, negating Despotism’s tyrannical reign. Thus sail our ships, unhesitating In the face of death and certain pain. The sacrifice of our forces armed, A tragic loss, a heroic gain. Keeping hearth and home, children, unharmed, In our land of freedom…it’s these brave, Daring or desperate ones who choose To fight the conniving, wretched knave. Trying to deceive us with a ruse. But will their ever descend a night When, like Byzantium, we will lose? When a mere 5,000 choose to fight To defend a way of life we call home? Can threat of certain defeat ignite The fire for warriors to roam? Or will luxury trump discipline, And our achievements be tilled to loam…

I love this woman; Ms. Heinrichs insight & perspective is the same as mine. You don't win a war by trickling enough weapons to keep Ukraine from being defeated. You end up with more casualities as the war grinds on. Give Ukraine the weapons it needs to win the war. putins a survivalist, indicated as he sat ~ 40 feet away from every/anybody at meetings during Co-vid. putin uses a nuke, we use a nuke - nuke using would come to an end real quick in simplified terms. putin, like trump are narcissistic bullies with big egoes & can't admit defeat, Ukraine must win decisively to convince putin never to invade again. All forces should join together, but make it clear not enter russia, but to remove all russian forces from UKraine including Cremea. It's mind boggling to think putin can level city after city, & don't you dare attack russia. putin did what trump wanted to do - shut down the free Press so putin can control the narrative, like trump, with his lies .Why isn't Ms. Heinrich President?

Typical assumptions contradicting the reality. So Russia was waiting for Ukraine to be weak and did so for 8 years (2014-2022) while Ukraine was increasing its military capabilities and then Russia invaded. Doesn't make any sense? but that's how hawkish argument work And Russia's invasion was completely not related to the lack of implementation of Minsk2 agreements, the push of Ukraine to become Nato member, and just weeks before the invasion, the announcement of Ukraine to either join Nato or get nuclear weapons. no, no not related at all The same with US rhetoric becoming more and more hostile agains Russia and at the same time showing positive signals for Ukraine Nato membership and then rejecting any talks with Russia. This for sure didn't not escalate the situation, right?! The red line with Ukraine was known to everybody who interested in geopolitics the slightest for 30 years. Russia was protesting but accepting the Nato expansion to about all former Sovjet countries in Europe. If this worked, why not trying to push over the red line, what could possibly go wrong, right? The only reasoning behind hawkish argumentation is: USA is allowed to do everything because US does not do any evil and everyone opposing US (like building military bases next to their borders) is evil to its core with the plan of overthrowing all democracies in the world. Funny that this argumentation is circular in nature: US is putting their feet in the door and when there is resistance, US has to respond to the increase aggression by pushing harder against the door.
