Very nice build and guide. I particularly love how you pay attention to the timings like when you typically run out of berries. It’s the power of routine so you already know when things are gonna happen without checking them. Gonna practice the build and try out in team games as well. Having early pressure with Ghazi raiders looks promising. Thanks again for the guide.

Match up advice is always welcome. But this can still be done in a new video. What I what also like to see is some map specific advice. Haven’t seen any dedicated map guides like, where are the sheep on that map? How does the map affect the strategy apart from water. Like where are resources that need to be controlled or choke points. But maybe that’s just my ignorance and you would know that when you play the maps more frequently.

Quick question: what do you do when there are only 2 sacred sites or 4 sacred sites on the map? Do you still go for 3 scholars?

Hmm.. In the current map-pool, only danube, golden heights and 4-lakes is 2-sites right? I use different build for those maps. And 4-sites, I dont know witch one that is, maby canal but that isnt in ranked pool either.. But in theory, in both scenarios you could go 3-scholars. In the 2-site version you can use the scholar not capping to speed up techs in the mosque or stay a little longer on food and make even more gazis. Think I would prefer slowing down on gazis to get other production going tho, as I do in the guide.

@@ahlaoe4 I do play mostly quick match. There you get all sorts of weird maps. 4 sites is confluence. What do you do different on Danube? I never really know how to approach that map. It’s just too big.

@@TomBrosch ah, ok... well there is fish so you need to go dock and the build is completly different. On danube its pretty common to go for sacret site win due to sites being quite easy to defend. You can wall in opponent and force them tru choke-points.
