Pausing the video all the time makes it so that it gets hard to watch and to enjoy actually. I think you are trying to say too much in one video, instead of focusing on just a few aspects, while keeping the momentum of the game. I have been studying pedagogy for more than 10 years and they always tell us that "silence is louder than words".

I agree with you in theory! If I was in a classroom with a group of students the less I talk the better. Their learning often came from trying, discussing and analyzing their own mistakes with me guiding them whenever they get stuck, but only enough to get them back on track These reviews are a much different context for a few reasons. 1 this is their only free review from me so I want to maximized the info they get 2. Knowing it’s a video I’m okay with adding lots of info since people can go back and watch as many times as they want If this was a private coaching session I follow teaching principles a lot more. I ask questions, I let them work through it, and I have usually 2-3 points only that I am hammering home with multiple examples
