what i do is play chronologically, so after genghis 4, play kotyan 1-3, genghis 5, then kotyan 4, genghis 6 then kotyan 5

These new campaigns have been some of the most interesting, historically speaking. When looking at the history of Cumania, you can see how after being conquered by the Golden Horde, many of the khanates that resulted bear the names of the existing countries in the region today.

I think among the 3 last khans campaign Cumans are the hardest, Tamerlane is much more easier. That is, before you play the new/modified Forgotten empires campaign xD which I found some stages are still very challenging but not as broken (sadly, the only campaign on Ludikris size in AoE2, the epic Honfoglalás has been remade into an ordinary one :( I was really hoping to see that campaign balanced on DE

Viper, could you perhaps turn up the game volume (dialogue anyway) up a bit in the next campaigns? The difference between your voice and the dialogue is a bit much. Love all of these though, so you can pretty much do whatever you want and I'll watch.

Any advice on how to do that? The hints say to get rams early to take the tartars down, but this has always backfired massively for me.

@@volodymyrboitchouk 2 things 1 go castle age and build a castle in the tartars face. 2 lure they're units to you're allies. You can in theory lure them away and directy go for feudal rams but then you have to be careful to keep you're rams alive.
