AoE2:DE - Victors and Vanquished - Constantine XI (1453)

Plus achievement.
One thing I noticed in this level is that, as long as you don't attack the Turks in any way, they won't try to breakthrough and will instead get lost in destroying stray walls and buildings. Because of this, as you can see I somehow managed to get 300+ pop waiting for the Turks to breakthrough and I guess that wasn't necessary.

Same here. I restarted my last save 10-12 times and I always die at the same moment. In one of my attempts, the Hagia Sofia was captured, triggering the losing condition...and 5 seconds later, I got to June 1st...but I still lost because of the losing trigger 😕

I finished yesterday, after 5 attempts, turks never managed to break any of the walls. It was helpful pausing during the assaults and targeting their siege weapons with paladins, i also used 10 elite cataphracts to wound the turk leader and went full fishing to get a lot of food

This one was hard to beat because you have to constantly build armies and make walls at the same time, I retrying more than 5 times and still can’t beat it 😣

Finished every other one on Hard, can't beat this one. Can't even beat it on Standard, just too much going and requires to much APM for my old ass.

Study the scenario it's not hard at all, actually I won on the hard in the first attempt and then I gave it another try on standard and I cleared all the ottomans from the map their camps and units, but can't defeat them since they spam out of nowhere so I built few bombard towers at each of their spam locations to stop them in their tracks 😂

the secret is to make fishing ships like 60 of them and to spam hussars + hand cannoner in defense
