Tip 1: make fishing ships only north dock near yellow Tip 2: Only defend top left castle. ignore the rest. enemy will come to u Tip 3: Make Condottieri at barracks mix in munks and skirmisher. Condottieri are as fast as horses they take out bombard cannons with ease. Tip 4: Get druzhina, pavise and perfusion upgrade at the wonder (ur condottieri becomes even stronger) Tip 5: Two villagers near castle for repair, walls and towers Tip 6: relocate all relics to monastery near the wonder Tip 7: u can relocate villagers to island of yellow for wood (safer)

Same here. I restarted my last save 10-12 times and I always die at the same moment. In one of my attempts, the Hagia Sofia was captured, triggering the losing condition...and 5 seconds later, I got to June 1st...but I still lost because of the losing trigger 😕

@@chucknoum23 i know what you mean i had same problem you need survive around 2h cause 2 minutes of gameplay is like 1 day of time

I finished yesterday, after 5 attempts, turks never managed to break any of the walls. It was helpful pausing during the assaults and targeting their siege weapons with paladins, i also used 10 elite cataphracts to wound the turk leader and went full fishing to get a lot of food

For Greece. You're defending Greece. And before you're commenting bullcrap : The Byzantines were far more Greek than Roman ESPECIALLY in 1453 when their provinces consisted only of mainland Greece.

Finished every other one on Hard, can't beat this one. Can't even beat it on Standard, just too much going and requires to much APM for my old ass.

Study the scenario it's not hard at all, actually I won on the hard in the first attempt and then I gave it another try on standard and I cleared all the ottomans from the map their camps and units, but can't defeat them since they spam out of nowhere so I built few bombard towers at each of their spam locations to stop them in their tracks 😂

the secret is to make fishing ships like 60 of them and to spam hussars + hand cannoner in defense

This one was hard to beat because you have to constantly build armies and make walls at the same time, I retrying more than 5 times and still can’t beat it 😣

@@sercenbatuhanodabas1760Mstislav was also a big loss ( as it resulted in the Battle of Kalka River, where the enraged Cuman allies were separated from the Rus princes, and the Rus-Cuman coalition was slowly picked apart by the Mongol riders )
