I appreciate the guide but it would've been better if you'd shown your attack on the enemies base. How do we know if you have a good tactic if we can't see the outcome of the game?

this format is normal for build orders, the execution isn't part of the video. Seems weird I know but its a common RTS thing, you'll have to find more in-depth guide because of how much the game varies based on how they respond to the BO.

I like the vid, my only dislike is foresty. Forstery saves 4 seconds chopping a tree down, which translates into a little less than 3 extra resources gathered per tree. 75/3 * 150 =3750, so it wont pay off until you gather about 4k wood. unless your going for some sort of chop through, its easily the worst upgrade in a game, age of noob did a vid on it. I would either skip it, or get double broad axe instead.

Yeh I pretty much thought about missing it out. I found though depending on the spawn might end up with like 30 gold left over after age up, and seeing as won't be going back to gold for a long time can't spend it elsewhere. So I figured it's either stay with 30 gold over-mined or collect 20 more and spend 50 food with the upgrade. (That 50 food is sitting in the bank during age up) I figured I'd use 70 resources sitting in the bank that can't be spent elsewhere for about 5 mins to slightly increase the speed of wood income to make the LB production a bit smoother, because it's tight on wood. From a total numbers / pay back on the tech, for sure it's not worth it, but figured if it's dead resources in bank and gets you LB constantly smoother initially on age up, might as well as not going to spend that res for the next 5 mins anyways. Ideally though I'd aim to just get 200 gold age up and skip forestry ~ probs by pulling the vills once hit 200 gold onto straggler, that pull will get the wood quicker than forestry would but probs not worth that step for a beginner's guide

A 'rush' strategy is when you get military units quickly to rush to your opponent to do damage. And 'feudal' is the name of the age that your civilisation is in when you are rushing

My team Delhi, Abbasid and HRE. Other team (all 3) gang up on one Civ (Delhi) and it’s all rush. Sorry if I’m asking too much haha 😅

this shit is too fast paced for me. Why do you need one villager harvesting sheep and six harvesting deer? Etc etc. I am on my fourth game of AoE 4 and I get my butt whooped on ranked. They don't put newbies with newbies. So it is tuff to learn what everything is and how I like to play
