A trick with relics as HRE/OTD in FFA is to scout around and make outposts somewhere nobody will go close to each relic then put it there.

King on water solution: Player can't delete transport ship with King inside. Transport ship (w/king inside) now acts as King, if it is taken out the points are awarded to player with final hit.

so after all the transport ship saved the blue, it wasn’t over for him; pink was eliminated. If it were as you’ve said “should be the end for him” it wouldn’t be the same outcome. There is nothing wrong with the king to try to run as long as you can’t delete it. Pink was sloppy to let him run.

I really do not get why you don't like the king sitting in a transport.

As long as a player can't delete their transport ship and a transport kill with king inside properly awards the points to the correct player, I don't understand what the problem is either. There's a risk transporting 16 knights, if it gets destroyed you lose a lot of resources but in this case you lose the game.

Why are they no building towers and those fortresses like in AoE3 for defense? I used to love building tons of towers in AoE3 singleplayer and found them really good, I don't play AoE4 tho.
