The AOElympics work similiar to the real Olympics, where you collect medals for your country in different genres. Different maps and formats will count as different genres. There are 1v1, 2v2 and 4v4 matchups.

Game 2 went wrong because stark went archers, and they are the most op unit in the game. Game 3 went right, because you went archers. See a trend? Wonder if it makes sense for archers to cost food and gold.

24:50 Chivalry is a tech that you almost never should get due to the high cost (400w400g) it would actually take *10* stable with Chivalry running non-stop to catch-up with 14 stables without Chivalry with the resources most of the time it is better to make 4 more stable instead

Chivalry doesn't regain you resources, nor does it compete with knight production (researched at castle, not stable), so I'm not quite sure what you're comparing here. Chivalry shaves off about 8.6 seconds from the production time of each knight, which is 8.6 extra seconds of damage/map control. So you're converting 400w400g into 8.6 extra seconds of value per knight, which is frequently worthwhile.

@@pitafred8843 He's saying instead of researching chivalry, you could build around 4 stables. Then you pump more knights faster! The first few knights are sped up by chivalry, true. But once the extra built stables start pumping, you should have more knights from the second or third set onward. The only case where chivalry comes in clutch is with imp upgrades, especially paladin. You get to a chevalier and then paladin power spike minutes earlier, which can be key. So chivalry is a 50% to imp transition upgrade. But it's not a faster castle age stables upgrades, instead just add 1-2 stables!

I've never been able to utilise cav archers in mid game which is a shame as they are a cool unit. Even if I'm Huns, I don't go into them because they are hard countered by skirm. And it's hard to complement them with Knights as they don't share upgrades and is too gold heavy.

There was a series vs Hera a few months ago (it was the one with the Malay fish traps - fair civs cup I think) in one game on graveyards Viper was like: "Hera's making a mistake here, he trebing my lumber camps you should never treb eco buildings like this"; literally two games later was the Malay fish trap game and Viper is like: "All I have to do is treb his lumber camps forever and I win the game".
