Another great lecture, I would not get to see this if someone did not have the good will to put it on KZbin. I just want to say, Thank You! I graduated in the mid 80's and so much has changed since then. People would laugh at the subject's I took to get my PhD. back then. If I went back then and told my adviser that the Universe was Accelerating, I would not have had to defend my thesis. I keep up with books, but nothing beat's a good lecture, then reading about it. Thank's again!!!!!!!! Finally, Cosmology, was not a sexy subject back when I went to school, how things have changed. Please give us more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kitchen blenders have dual blades. Two SMBH's in a galaxy are like kitchen blenders - especially if the black hole pairs are matched. Imagine two of these monsters grinding through stellar matter at high revolutionary speeds. Anything in the way gets pulped into iron ions and emitted violently. IF only Lovecraft had known EACH galaxy has at least one Azathoth, and many galaxies have several Azathoths. :P In the 1930s The Poet didn't know about Galaxies.
