A slight correction: Maki messed with a man she knew was her SIL's underling, which makes it so much worse. (Keiichi only worked at Yui's company later on) I mean, if it was Keiichi's boss, there would be tension at one workplace and allow Keiichi to run away, but now, there's tension at Keiichi's workplace from those who pity him, from SIL's workplace from those disgusted with the section chief, and within Keiichi's family as Maki pit the loyalty of the siblings against each other.

When Tetsyoshi came back to his company, everyone glaring at him and treated him coldly. It turns out the whistleblower tells everyone about the wedding, Tetsyoshi and Maki got divorced. Maki unable face the gossiping and made multiple mistakes, and her father disowned her. Tetsyoshi resigned because he was being isolated. He also struggling to get a job because new colleagues heard about the wedding so he was being trashed. Meanwhile, Keiichi dating with Noa and Yui support them. Extra: Soon, Keiichi married Noa. On the other hand,Yui talking to her colleague Yuto. " Is your brother okay now,Yui?" Asked Yuto. "He's fine now, thanks Yuto." Said Yui. Later, Noa asked Yui about Tetsyoshi and Maki. According to Yui, Tetsyoshi now became a shut in since he was unable to face the rumours while Maki now works as a skyscraper window washer. In the end,Yui introduced to Keiichi and Noa to Yuto. Months later, Yuto married Yui.

Even if it wasn't the CEOs brother having employees who engage in cheating, affairs, etc reflects very poorly on the company. It's a matter of integrity and trust. Nobody wants a "player" stinking up their air. Not upper management, not HR, not the employees, and certainly not the subcontractors and business partners. Sure most companies won't fire you unless it directly effects the company or unless it's specifically stated in the companies corporate policy. But nobody is going to want to work with you if you have a reputation for being a home wrecker.
