Afterstory: Things wasn't good for Haruki and Mao. Why? Let me give you short Haruki and Mao: lack of seriousness, cause the trouble at the restaurant, making fun of Keichi and Yui So now the restaurant banned them and their friends and parents blocked their contracts. It turns out that when Kuroki was about propsed Akane, she turned around and pointed the seat. " Isn't that Haruki?"asked Akane. Kuroki also also Mao there too. " Oh boy, they kept mocking our CEO again." said Kuroki. "Wait, I have a good idea to revenge on them." Akane knows she had to reveal their personality. So after that, the next day she exposed at the company, now both Haruki and Mao being isolated and they resigned. When they met each other, they kept blaming each other.

Very great story! Serves Haruki and Mao right! For being so loud at the restaurant and for being slackers at work! They deserve to be defeated and rejected! It's nice Yui and Keichi unocvered Haruki's and Mao's wrong doings not only at the restaurant, but at the company too. Keichi and Yui are a beautiful couple. I wish them good luck like that!😊🖤💜💖

I just find hilarius how the male antagonist tried to "break up" the relationship between the MC and FMC in that *rotten* way. Also, I bet that in the afterstory, both antagonists ended up working on a boat or something (I don't know, I just have this feeling that probably could be even true).

with their attitudes, Haruki and Mao should have been fired long before the initial First Day's company meeting. BOTH were more interested in getting into a romantic a relationship with Day's company execs than doing their jobs. Acting all arrogant, high and mighty, and causing trouble for the restaurant in front of their boss ... their boss should have rightly fired them on disciplinary grounds on the spot. Allowing them to quit, they will do the same thing again at another employer.

The ending shot suggests hes going to ask her to marry... but they are already in that process and why wouldn't she go with him? she is literally getting married to him and if he leaves that doesn't make sense. That ending was kinda confusing, not gonna lie.

I thought the same. Doesn't fiance in Japan also mean being engaged? That proposal should have already happened. I also thought they talked about living arrangements and long-term with the project and all as the reason why they couldn't get married right away. Seems like the storywriter lost track of a few things.

I agree. The next step in their relationship is to start talking about the wedding day. If the protagonist has to return overseas after finishing the project, when do they plan to progress their relationship? And do they want to organize everything "remotely"? If they don't want to get married first, they should think about having Yui request a transfer to the same overseas office as Keiichi, so that they can at least organize everything. At the end of the story it seems that Yui can't wait for Keiichi to ask her to go with him (or to marry her before going) but Keiichi seems strangely hesitant, putting everything off until next time. And he's about to take on the role of CEO and he can't ask his fiancé to go with him, putting it all off until just before he has to go away? Can I be a little worried about the company?

Just tell Yui straight up that you want her to follow you overseas, Keiichi. Also, since she's his fiancee, shouldn't he already have proposed to her? What's with the ring? Or is that a wedding ring as opposed to an engagement one?

Feels like the storyboard got messed up when they were writing this one out. Maybe being engaged functions differently in Japan than other countries, I don't know.

Unless the ending was suppised to show two Wedding Rings? And the artist got it wrong? Or in Japan (since a lot of mangas use it) is "dating towards marriage" considered being engaged? Because that's the only way I could see her not having the ring yet. I say this is a very low probability, but if it's not a script or art error, that's the only thing I can think of to explain the ending.

Okay, first of all, WHY IS THAT BOTH THEIR FORTUNE COOKIES SO GODDAMN BIG?! 🤣🤣🤣 second, this art style and character design looks so new to me. third, why is keiichi still a bitch? and those 2 trying to break both keiichi and yui is worst by far since they happen to be fiancés to be. why did keiichi stop you from kicking the both out? dude, I swear, these riders are making this character worser by the minute. I dunno why but yui looks so much like a humanized version of jeanette with her hair down from the chipettes. she looks so sharp with her glasses and figure down to her purple hair. and that ending looks so much like that overseas episode 5 years later bit.

Well, it appears Haruki was her senpai, so he should have been guiding her properly. Mao, while she did want Keiichi, actually had the deal, but followed her senpai's advice, even though it was really annoying to MMC. Haruki was the one that kept ruining the deal and then took pictures, trying to imply Keiichi was seeing Mao. Mao didn't know about the pictures. So while she was at fault pursuing Keiichi after finding out he was engaged, she almost had the deal. So it was more of a 80/20 split with Haruki being the 80 (since he scrubbed the deal and took pictures after telling Mao to bother Keiichi). And in both restaurants, it seemed more of a 55/45 split (Haruki/Mao) since Haruki did most of the offensive talking. Mao was also wrong, just to a slightly lesser degree.
